Microsoft and Meta, part of the “Magnificent Seven,” surged in premarket trading—rising around 8% and 11% respectively—after reporting earnings that beat expectations. Microsoft revealed that its Azure cloud business generated over $75 billion in annual revenue. Meta also impressed with a strong sales forecast for the third quarter, topping analysts’ estimates. Other major tech names in the group, including Apple and Amazon, are set to report their results after the market closes on Thursday.
