Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are the halfway mark of the day’s trade, and the markets are holding onto the gains and are rising ahead despite the overwhelming uncertainty. The Nifty is up over 200 points, rising towards 24,550. The Nifty Bank index is up over 700 points, clocking the 57,000 mark. JSW Steel, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank are amongst the biggest gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: As we enter the second half of the day’s trade, the markets remain optimistic, as they were at the beginning of the day. The Nifty trades higher, jumping over 200 points, rising towards 24,550. The Sensex is up over 700 points, rising to 79,000.
As for Nifty, the private banking stocks ICICI, Axis and HDFC are among the top contributors.
The Nifty Bank index is up over 600 points, rising towards the 57,000 mark.
For the Nifty Bank, 57,000 on the upside holds the key, while 56,000 on the downside will need to be protected.
Some of the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks include Lemon Tree Hotels, PNB Housing, Groww, Bank of Maharashtra, Zen Tech and more.
Companies such as HCLTech, Nestle India, Persistent Systems, Tata Elxsi report results today, while PNB Housing, NELCO and others will react to results.
