Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets have fallen sharply and is trading on a very volatile note at this hour. is the second half of the day’s trade and the markets are holding ther ground in green. Despite the chaos in the Persian Gulf, the 50 points rose to 24,100. The Nifty bank is also surging, with an uptick of over 200 points, hitting the 58,000 mark. Shriram Finance, Bajaj Fin and Axis Bank are the top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is past noon at Dalal Street, and the markets are looking to undo the damage of the expiry session, as indices hold gains from the first half of the day’s trade.
However, the bourse is a volatile terrain, and have suffered a sharp fall from the day’s high. The bulls are hoping for a recovery from these lows.
The markets are exhibiting resilience as the Nifty is up over 30 points, moving around 24,100. The Sensex is also up over 200 points, rising to the 77,200 mark.
The Nifty Bank is also on a similar trajectory, rising over 550 points. Banking stocks will also be in focus as the Nifty Bank closed below the 57,500 mark.
Oil prices still remain above $80, even though they are off Tuesday’s high. The Nifty range remains the same as 24,000, followed by 23,800 remain major supports on the downside, and 24,250 – 24,350 levels remain an important supply zone.
The Nifty Bank also remains locked in the 57,500 – 58,500 range.
Earnings season begins to pick-up pace starting today with LTTS, Tata Elxsi, Anand Rathi shares reacting to their results, and Angel One, HDB Financial, HDFC AMC, HDFC Life, ICICI Lombard, Union Bank, among others reporting their results today.
