Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: As we move into the last half of the week’s trade, the market is looking mark a recovery from lows. The markets are under pressure again, as the bulls stare down the barrel of a weekly decline. The Nifty is down over 100 points, falling towards 23,700. The Nifty Bank is down is now up 50 points, falling to 56,000. Shriram Fin, IndiGo and Eternal are the top laggards.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is past noon at Dalal, and we are at a critical juncture in this Friday trading session, as bulls hope for a recovery from the lows. The markets are moving towards a weekly decline as the indices trade with deep cuts. The Nifty is down nearly 150 points and will look to protect the 23,600 mark. The Sensex is down 600 points and is down to 75,600.
Brent remains around the $100 mark.
Nifty will look to stem further losses as 24,000 level becomes the key on the upside. Analysts have warned that if 23,800 – 23,750 breaks decisively on the downside, it could drag the Nifty further down to 23,600 – 23,500 levels. The Nifty Bank closed below the 57,000 mark on Thursday, managing to defend the 56,500 level by just.
The banking index is set to post its worst week since March. Result reactions from Infosys and IndiGo will be key, followed by earnings from Shriram Finance, Tata Consumer, Bank of Baroda and others.
