Sensex Today | Stock Market Highlights: The Nifty 50 index is trading 0.5% or 125.85 points higher at 23,316.5. As many as 38 index stocks are in the green, while 12 decline. Hero MotoCorp (3.04%), Bajaj Finance (2.72%) and Coal India (2.21%) are the top gainers. On the other hand, Infosys (-0.99%), Bajaj Finserv (-0.69%) and IndusInd Bank (-0.61%) are the top losers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market Highlights: The Indian equity benchmarks are trading at day’s high. Sensex is trading 500 points higher at above the 76,850 mark. Nifty 50 is trading 154.95 points or 0.67% at 23,345.6, crossing the 23,300 mark for the first time since Feb 11. The Nifty Bank index is trading nearly 400 points in the green at 50,456.6.
Brokerage firm Nuvama has initiated coverage on solar equipment manufacturer Waaree Energies, calling it a “braveheart” pick. The shares of Manappuram Finance gained on the news of Bain Capital acquiring a stake in the company. Bajaj Finance shares are trading close to its all-time high levels, following positive developments regarding its outgoing MD and CEO Rajeev Jain.
