Golden Globes 2026 Biggest Winners: Timothée Chalamet, One Battle After Another & More

Everything was coming up golden for Timothée Chalamet, Teyana Taylor and more stars.

On Jan. 11, the 2026 Golden Globes—hosted by Nikki Glaser for the second year in a row—honored the year’s most critically acclaimed films, TV shows and actors. (See every celeb at the Golden Globes here.)

During the ceremony, held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., stars such as Amy Poehler and Jean Smart made history, while limited TV series Adolescence and the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed movie One Battle After Another both came out on top with a whopping four awards.

Of course, they’re not the only ones who walked away with a trophy from the 83rd annual celebration. After all, Timothée—who attended the ceremony alongside girlfriend Kylie Jenner—won Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical/Comedy, a category in which he competed against George Clooney (Jay Kelly), Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Lee Byung-Hun (No Other Choice) and Jesse Plemmons (Bugonia).

Meanwhile, Sinners soared to victory against the likes of Zootopia 2, Wicked: For Good and Avatar: Fire and Ash in Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, and Teyana scored the first big award of the night, taking home the statue for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture. She beat out nominees Emily Blunt (The Smashing Machine), Elle Fanning (Sentimental Value), Ariana Grande (Wicked: For Good), Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas (Sentimental Value) and Amy Madigan (Weapons).

“Oh my god, I almost didn’t even write a speech because I didn’t think I’d be up here,” Teyana said through tears on stage, before shouting out her and ex Iman Shumpert‘s kids “Junie” Tayla, 10, and Rue Rose, 5. “Oh my babies, my babies are upstairs watching. Y’all better be off them damn phones and watching me right now.”

And shortly after, Stellan Skarsgård made his mark on the show by winning out over Benecio del Toro (One Battle After Another), Jacob Elordi (Frankenstein), Paul Mescal (Hamnet), Sean Penn (One Battle After Another) and Adam Sandler (Jay Kelly) for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture. He previously picked up one of the iconic gold statues in 2021 for his performance in the limited TV series Chernobyl.
