LEWISTON, ME, June 11, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Daniel Clarke has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by more than 35 years of success in the financial realm, Mr. Clarke currently serves as president and chief executive officer of Maine Family Federal Credit Union, where he has led with distinction since 2022. In this capacity, he is responsible for addressing member inquiries, monitoring financial and strategic plans, overseeing leadership team meetings focused on budgets and statistics, managing third-party partners and vendors, and overseeing building maintenance and expansion initiatives. His expertise in credit union management and financial literacy promotion has been crucial in guiding the organization’s growth and glowing reputation throughout the Lewiston and Auburn communities.

Prior to assuming his presidential role, Mr. Clarke built a distinguished career of more than three decades in the credit union industry, beginning in 1988 as a teller. His early years were marked by a commitment to learning every facet of credit union operations as he actively sought knowledge from various departments, viewing his work not merely as transactional but as a long-term professional pursuit that required continuous engagement, cross-functional experience and adaptability.

A highlight of Mr. Clarke’s career was his leadership during three significant mergers over a 20-year tenure at a previous credit union. As the head of each merger project, he managed the integration of the acquired credit unions’ brand identities, negotiated merger processes, oversaw computer system conversions and facilitated the transition of employees into the new organization. Successfully overseeing three mergers — a rare accomplishment in the financial industry — demonstrates his exceptional ability to navigate complex organizational changes while maintaining stability and growth for everyone involved.

Hailing from an equally impressive academic background, Mr. Clarke earned a master’s degree in finance from New England College of Business as well as a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. Along with his education, he attributes his success to his unwavering devotion to continuous learning, which began with his entry-level position and has continued through every stage of his career. By seeking out opportunities for hands-on learning across multiple operational areas, he developed the comprehensive expertise necessary for effective leadership and customer service.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Clarke is an active member of the Government Advocacy Committee of the Maine Credit Union League, reflecting his commitment to advancing industry standards and best practices within the state. Also deeply involved in civic initiatives that aid individuals and families in need throughout both Lewiston and the broader Maine community, the credit union supports organizations such as Kaydenz Kitchen Food Pantry, Good Shepherd Food Bank, United Way of Androscoggin County and the Campaign for Ending Hunger in Maine.

Mr. Clarke’s outstanding leadership has seen his financial institutions recognized through several accolades including “Best Community Bank/Credit Union” in the Lewiston/Auburn Maine area by the GKM Independent Survey Co.

Happily married and a proud father of two children, Mr. Clarke is a dedicated family man who enjoys reading, playing games, exploring artificial intelligence technology and assisting with his son’s bakery business as a balance to his professional responsibilities.

Determined to further his impact in the coming years, Mr. Clarke intends to continue strengthening Maine Family Federal Credit Union and expanding its reach to promote financial responsibility and fiscal education for individuals and families throughout his community and the State of Maine.
