US-Israel-Iran War LIVE Updates: Tensions across West Asia remain volatile as the conflict involving Israel, Iran and the United States continues to trigger military exchanges, diplomatic manoeuvres and turbulence in global energy markets.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Tuesday that negotiations with Washington are no longer being considered. Araghchi stated that discussions with the United States have effectively been removed from Iran’s agenda amid the escalating conflict.
The statement signals a further deterioration in diplomatic prospects between the two countries as hostilities in the region continue to intensify.
Meanwhile, several advisers to US President Donald Trump have urged him to outline a clear strategy for disengaging the United States from the conflict with Iran.
Earlier on Tuesday, Trump said the war in Iran is “pretty much over”. However, he issued a strong warning to Tehran, stating that any attempt to disrupt oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz would trigger a response “twenty times harder” than they have been hit thus far.
